FAQs
Alpacas
are considerably smaller in stature than their cousins the llamas. Other
obvious physical differences between an alpaca and a llama are the ear shape and
size and the tail set. An alpaca’s ears are short and spear shaped while a
llama’s ears are longer and more banana shaped. The tail of an alpaca is
set lower on the hind end than the tail of a llama.
